What is an “Artifact?”

What is an “Artifact?”

Bonded clients (Levels 5, 9 & 11) are required to submit an “Artifact” on the date of each automatic Installment Payment. Missing an Artifact submission carries the same consequences as missing a payment. An Artifact can be anything that can be captured in a photo or text that reveals personal information about the client. Clients on a Custom Bonded Contract or Graduated Bonded Contract may have more specific guidelines, but otherwise the requirements are open-ended. Creativity is encouraged.

Some examples of Artifacts submitted by clients in the past:

  • Photo of client in a compromising position.
  • Photo of personal documents.
  • Handwritten letter to Bonders apologizing for getting them involved.
  • Photo of journal/confessional pages.
  • Bank statement with all financial submission activities highlighted, with handwritten annotations, explaining the reason for each.
  • Chastity cage check.
  • Sexual activity report.
  • Financial activity report.
  • Exercise/weight/food/alcohol/orgasm log.
  • Lines of text.
  • Bodily fluid measurements.

Each Bonded client has a customized secure portal for submitting Artifacts, with reminders sent when each Installment Payment clears. Clients with a custom requirement also have a personalized submission form that reiterates requirements and requests the information in a specific format. For clients on a Graduated Bonded Contract, the reminder emails include a report of which of the additional requirements have been completed, and which still remain. These six “Preliminary Loading Artifacts” must be submitted before the client is fully Bonded.

Note that the Contract document itself that defines all of these requirements is referred to as the “Artifact of Erotic Humiliation.”
