What is the timeline?

For standard programs, there is a three-step process:

1. The first step may only be completed during a short window that occurs on one weekend each month. Applicants provide some basic information, pay $1.00 to verify identity, and schedule a date for the application to be transmitted from a range of given options.
2. If the request is approved, application will be transmitted on the scheduled date. Applicant has ten days to complete the application, which includes scheduling the contract transmittal.
3. If the application is approved, contract will be transmitted on the scheduled date. Applicant has ten days to review and sign the contract before it is automatically recalled. Most clients complete the process in 2-3 weeks, although some take as long as 2-3 months.

For expedited programs, all three steps are combined into one:

• The process may begin at any time. The application is automatically reviewed, and its if approved, the processing fee is paid and a contract is automatically generated and transmitted. Applicant has ten days to review and sign the contract before it is automatically recalled.
